The Grace Animal Sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes animals so that they can live a new life.

Our Processes

Once we have rescued an animal, our focus is to restore it back to optimal health. Our team tends to the animal’s holistic needs, as well as sterilises and vaccinates the animal. During the rehabilitation process, the animal is fostered in a loving home by one of our team members. Once the animal is ready to go to its forever home, it’ll become available for adoption. We have a strict rehoming process to make sure that the animal and new owner are the perfect fit.

Adoptions and Rehoming

We have a strict adoption and rehoming process. Each case is assessed carefully to make sure that the animal and prospective owner are a good fit. During the rehoming processes, we run a thorough home check to ensure that the space is adequate for the animal. After the animal has been placed, we stay in contact with the new owner to offer help and assistance should any further issues occur.

Animal Introduction

Should a home already have a family pet, Grace Animal Sanctuary will mediate the introduction between the old and new animals. For homes that already have or are introducing a power breed, we outsource the services of a trusted and reputable company.

Education

We believe in eradication through education. One of our biggest drives is to educate people on the fair and just treatment of animals. To decrease repeat breeding, we explain the reasons why producing litter after litter is harmful and dangerous. We also offer assistance with the sterilisation of adults, vaccinations and deworming of puppies, and the processes of finding good homes for the litter.
