Every animal goes through our comprehensive four-step programme before being placed in a loving home.
Rescue
We respond to reports of abuse, neglect or abandonment and bring animals to safety.
Assess
Full veterinary check — medical needs, emotional state and rehabilitation plan
Rehabilitate
Holistic care in foster homes — vaccinations, sterilisation, love and training.
Rehome
Careful matching with the right family for a successful, lasting adoption.
What we work with - Our Focus Areas
Dogs
From abusive environments, road accidents and abandonment. Our foster network gives each dog the individual attention they need to heal and thrive.
Farm Animals
Our new farm location allows us to assist with small and farm animals — providing sanctuary for those with nowhere else to turn.
Wesbank Outreach Programme
Our Wesbank Outreach Programme is one of the most important parts of our mission, extending compassion beyond the sanctuary and into the community.
We assist struggling families with pet food, sterilisations, and emergency veterinary care for animals affected by abuse, accidents, and violence.
We also provide a daily cooked meal to vulnerable children, the elderly, and those who are infirm, because we believe that caring for people and caring for animals go hand in hand.
To help sustain these vital projects, we operate a community shop in Wesbank, where donated items are sold to raise much-needed funds. Every donation, every purchase, and every act of kindness helps us bring hope, dignity, and a second chance to both animals and people in need.
